The time is now. The time is now to bow down to the greatness that is Mike “the Buzz-Saw” Asti and George ‘the Howitzer” Gerbo. This is also the time to bow down to some greatness in the sports world. Both the NHL and NBA are days away from crowning a new champion.
Can the greatness that is LeBron James be reborn, as his Heat attempt to climb back into the NBA Finals? After a demoralizing 33 point shellacking in Game 3, how can LBJ turn things around? And will he ever get the necessary assistance from his other “Big 3″ members? Mike remains on the Heat heel bus and will explain why there is still reason for optimism for Miami.
While there’s been plenty of intrigue and drama on the hardwood, the ice is not to be denied. Game 1 of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals is in the books and what a game it was. Original Six foes, two major markets, an abundance of talent, oh and Game 1 took 3 overtimes to conclude. To put that into perspective, there’s never been a 4 OT Stanley Cup Final game. I’d say we are headed for an epic clash to sip from sports oldest trophy.
Did the Bruins squander the series already, by allowing a Blackhawk comeback? How can Rask look so outstanding against one group of superstars (Pittsburgh), yet beatable against another?
Not to be forgotten in the midst of epic postseasons, Major League Baseball is back in the news. No, not another steroids story. Brawls and the Dodgers seem to go hand in hand these days. What will the fallout be from the recent Los Angeles – Arizona slugfest on the diamond?
Another gold quality HBS ends with a debate on the Washington Redskins team name. To say Mike will heel turn is a grave understatement.

Why is getting ahold of information through a school like attempting brain surgery while you’re sick? Shouldn’t information flow FREELY from a place of learning? Instead, you have to talk to people that must have just rolled out of bed with a hangover. They never know what you’re talking about or where they even are. They transfer you 50 different places and no one is ever at their desk. It’s like walking a maze lined with glass barefoot with your eyes gouged out.
Factoid of the Week:
Studies have shown that you’re never more than ten feet away from a spider, and one estimate puts you as close as three feet. To be “spider-free” you’d have to go into space in a fumigated capsule.

The Howitzer & Buzz-Saw Show – Straight Clowin’ Yo
Straight clowin’ is the phrase of the week. And those words perfectly describe the asininity of some recent news. The circus that has loomed over Major League Baseball for over a decade just won’t go away. Another steroid scandal is plaguing America’s past time. Will star players like Ryan Braun and Alex Rodriguez suffer 100 game suspensions, as a result of lying about PED use? Is it wise for Bud Selig and company to be in full fledged attack mode, unlike their previous methods in handling steroids? Do players truly have a deterrent, if the Hall of Fame is not on their minds?
All the straight clowin’ in baseball has overshadowed the ongoing climb for championships in both basketball and hockey. In the NBA, we have our final two. The San Antonio Spurs look to put another stamp on their dynasty meet the defending champion Miami Heat and their hype machine. Can LeBron get the job done, if his fellow “Big 3″ mates don’t join the party? How will his legacy be affected with another Finals loss? Who is the true favorite in this series? And some Spurs praising will be at a premium.
While the NBA is at the Finals stage, the NHL is still looking to determine the matchup for Lord Stanley’s Cup. What happened to the Penguins? Seriously. What the HELL happened?! How will this debacle and complete choke job shape the future of the Pittsburgh franchise? That discussion could go on for days.

I made my own Kale Chips! They are delicious (and not 7 bloody dollars for a small box of about 10 chips). We’ve a garden out back and we have a TON of kale, so it just makes sense to cover them in vegan cheese and dehydrate them 
I put a lot of cayenne pepper in this batch so no one would eat them save for me ^_^ Also, we are looking to have a special guest in the next few weeks! Stay tuned for details!
